We absolutely LOVE short ribs. These racks of ribs are adjoined to beautiful chunks of juicy, tender, flavorful beef. It’s a favorite of ours, not only for the taste, but how EASY it is to make. We’ve got two recipes with two ways of preparing. Enjoy!!!!
Both of these recipes can be used for either your slow cooker or your instant pot.:
Slow Cooker: 7-8 hours on low
Instant Pot: Rule of thumb is 20 minutes per pound. Pressure cook.
Recipe #1
1. Add about 1 cup bone broth (Arrow J) to your slow cooker
2. Add Arrow J Short Ribs to your slow cooker
3. Smother with your favorite bbq sauce.
4. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. The meat will be falling off the bone! Enjoy!
(Alternatively, use same process in instant pot, pressure cooking for 20 minutes for every pound of beef)
Recipe #2
1. Rub down ribs with extra virgin olive oil.
2. Generously salt and pepper ribs
3. Add 1/2-1c. bone broth or dry red wine to slow cooker or instant pot
4. Add 3cloves garlic
5. Add seasoned ribs to slow cooker or instant pot.
6. Cook on low for 7-8 hours (Alternatively, use pressure cook in instant pot 20 minutes for every pound of beef)
