What is included in a BULK BEEF order?

Bulk Beef is considered a Quarter, Half, or Whole animal.  For your convenience, we have given you an overview of all cuts included when you purchase in bulk.  You can find a breakdown of each under “BULK BEEF”. Please keep in mind, these are ESTIMATES ONLY.  Because every animal is different, quantities and weights may vary slightly.

How much freezer space do I need?

Rule of thumb is 30 lbs per cubic foot.  And because all our cuts our sealed in tidy and sleek vacuum sealed packaging, it makes it easy to store. 
   Quarter Beef: Approx. 50-65 lbs = approx. 2 cubic feet of freezer space
Half Beef: Approx. 115-125 lbs = approx. 4 cubic feet of freezer space
Whole Beef: Approx. 230-250 lbs = approx. 8 cubic feet of freezer space

Do you ship?

In keeping with our core values, we currently only deliver locally and shipping is not available at this time.  However, as we see an increasing demand for good, clean, ranch direct beef, and as we continue to grow, we are open to this option in the future.  So stay tuned!

What locations do you delivery to?

All orders are delivered directly to our customers.  Home deliveries are made on bulk orders (Half or Whole Beef orders).  For all other orders, deliveries are made to a centralized DROP LOCATION, in which customers are given a 30 minute timeframe in which they can come pick up their order.  We currently have DROP LOCATIONS in:

El Dorado Hills, Orange County*, Folsom, Susanville*, Placerville, Reno, South Lake Tahoe

*Orange County: We stock up our Orange County customers twice a year…Spring & Fall.  Home Deliveries are NOT included for Orange County Deliveries.  Only DROP LOCATION pick up is available. 
*Susanville: Because Susanville is our home town, we can delivery directly to your home upon receipt of any order.

How do I start my own delivery drop?

As the demand for ranch direct, 100% grass fed beef continues to grow, so does our delivery route.  If you are interested in starting your own DROP LOCATION, we’d love to chat with you! How/when do I pay?

When ordering bulk beef (Quarter, Half, or Whole Beef orders):  There is a non-refundable security deposit due for all bulk beef orders:

Quarter Beef: $150.00
Half Beef: $300.00
Whole Beef: $450.00

This deposit is then applied to your balance due, which is due at time of delivery and will reflect the final actual weight of your order.  
When ordering beef by the cut: Because we charge by the pound, and because no two cuts are identical, the price will depend on the size of the cut.  When placing an order, simply choose the quantity of each cut you would like, your pick up location, and submit.  Payment is due at time of pick up and will reflect the prices & weights of each cut pulled for you order.  

When & where do I get my order?

Please visit our delivery calendar to see delivery locations and dates.  When placing your order, simply pick which delivery location you would like to pick up your order and we will include it in our next upcoming delivery.  We will also always send you an order confirmation, so if you haven’t heard back from us, you may want to check back in.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Venmo, and most major credit cards.  Please note, there is a 3.5% fee on all credit card purchases.
