Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry

Living 60 miles outside of town doesn’t make ordering take out very realistic.  Plus, often times these recipes are made with unhealthy ingredients.  Our Beef & Broccoli stir fry allows you to enjoy the “take out”, guilt free.  Not only have we swapped out the unhealthy ingredients with healthy alternatives, but this recipe is also Whole 30 and Paleo approved.  But you wouldn’t know it from the taste! It’s also kid approved.

  • 1.5 lbs Arrow J Beef Top Sirloin OR Arrow J Beef Carne Asada
  • 4 T. Arrowroot Powder
  • 1.5 lbs Broccoli Florets
  • 1 C. Coconut Aminos
  • 5 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 3 tsp scant tsp. ground Ginger
  • 1 t. Pepper
  • Coconut Oil for cooking


  • Slice beef into strips
  • Add Arrowroot powder to a bowl or a Ziploc bag. Toss sliced beef in arrowroot powder until well coated.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the coconut aminos, pepper, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  • Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add beef to skillet (one at a time) and cook for 60 seconds. Flip and cook another 60 seconds. Transfer seared beef to a plate. Continue working in batches until all the beef is seared, adding coconut oil as needed.
  • Once all the beef is seared, add the broccoli to the pan (beef should still be set aside on a plate) Cook approximately 5 minutes. Transfer broccoli to plate with beef.
  • Pour the premixed sauce into the pan and scrape any browned bits (they add the best flavor).
  • Return beef and broccoli to the pan with the sauce and allow to cook for 5 minutes (you may add water as needed if you find the sauce gets too thick)
